Getting Started
Process for starting counseling
Once you reach out, we will contact you to either set up a 30 minute complimentary consultation if your therapist is currently accepting new clients or to confirm adding you to our waitlist.
Consultations are a space for us to talk about what brings you to in. During this meeting it is helpful if you share what you are wanting to work on, goals and prior experiences in counseling/mental health supports. In our meeting, I am happy to answer questions about my approach, process, history and any other relevant counseling questions. Consultation helps determine if working with me is the right therapeutic fit to support your counseling process.
If it does feel like the right fit, I will follow up with you and send you a link for paperwork and a secure portal where you can access my calendar and schedule your first session.
Insurance:
Leslie: Aetna, Moda & Regence BCBS
If you have out of network coverage, I can provide a super bill (invoice of services) to submit to your insurer. Please note that your insurance may decline reimbursing you for services. Payment must be provided to me directly at the time of service. Please contact your insurance provider to check your benefits.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your counseling care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. If we do decide to work together, I will email you an estimate of what your counseling services should cost.
